How to get to Liw Liwa
Get on a bus bound to Iba
Zambales and let 'em know that you'll get off in San Felipe Zambales.
Victory Liner has daily trip. One way fare to San Felipe is Php 290.00.
Once in San Felipe, charter a tricycle and tell the driver that
you're going to Liw Liwa.
Three of us cost Php 75.00 so I guess its
Php 25.00 each.Where to stay in Liw Liwa
You may stay in Circle
Hostel for Php 350.00/head/night on their bunk beds or you may pitch
a tent fpr Php 250.00/head/night. You may want to check and stay in
Sir Ping Spot where they offer a room for Php 800.00/night which can
fir 4-6 people or pitch a tent for Php 80.00/head/night. Cheap right?
Where to eat in Liw Liwa
Right in front of Circle
Hostel, there's a store that serves meals for as cheap as Php 70.00.
A small eatery in front of Sir Ping Spot also serves meal. I wasn't
able to check the prices tough. Beer in Liw Liwa cost Php
27.00/bottle. Not Bad!
What to do while in Liw Liwa
Aside from bumming around
the beach, you might want to learn Surfing and Skimboarding. Sir Ping
Spot offers both lessons for these. For Surfing lesson, it cost Php 400.00 for
an hour including board rental. For Skimboarding, Sorry, I wasn't
able to check for prices but I'm pretty sure its cheaper. By the way,
Jaromanoy Skimboard are made here in Liw Liwa Zambales so you might
bump in with local skim boarders like Manoy Bazar and a few more.
